Products

Four lines, each with its status stated.

Matador builds software and methodology products when a consulting problem cannot be solved with a document. Advisory work remains the firm's primary business, and the product line is deliberately small. Where something is not yet available, the page says so.

Wayfare

Patent Pending

A Matador Strategies developmental technology

Wayfare is secure, resilient mesh communications for teams operating without cellular or internet infrastructure. Encryption and authentication sit at the application layer, independent of the mesh radio hardware, so the security posture does not depend on the radio a team happens to be carrying.

The shared operational picture is self-healing. Devices that move out of range and return resynchronize automatically rather than requiring a manual merge or losing what was recorded while they were disconnected. An on-device language model assistant runs entirely offline, and no query or piece of operational data ever leaves the handset.

  • Application-layer encryption independent of the radio hardware
  • Self-healing shared operational picture across intermittent connectivity
  • Fully offline on-device language model assistant
  • United States provisional patent application filed August 2026

Wayfare is in active development and is not available for purchase. Practitioner evaluation inquiries are welcome.

FaintTrace

Pre-Launch

Counterintelligence research assistant

FaintTrace is a research assistant built for counterintelligence and security researchers who need an artificial intelligence tool that can be held to a citation standard. The application verifies claims against live search rather than reciting sources from training data, which is the failure mode that makes most general purpose assistants unusable for research that has to survive review.

Legal and privacy notices are rendered by the application rather than left to the model's discretion, so a user never sees a session in which they were omitted. Session limits, query caps, and search discipline are enforced in code.

  • Source verification against live search on every substantive claim
  • Disclaimers and privacy notice enforced at the application layer
  • Built for open-source research, with academic integrity guardrails
  • Formerly developed under the working name ARCLIGHT

FaintTrace is pre-launch. Access details will be published here when the free tier opens.

Custom AI Reasoning Systems

Available

Delivered as a consulting engagement

Most organizations adopting artificial intelligence use it transactionally: a question in, an answer out, no memory of the standards the organization works to. The alternative is to build a reasoning system, an architecture that carries the organization's own context, review standards, and vocabulary into every interaction.

Matador delivers those systems as engagements rather than as templates. The client receives a working system built around their documents and decision points, documentation of why it is structured the way it is, and training for the people who will maintain it.

The underlying methodology is published separately as ConsiglAI, a documented framework for building reasoning partners rather than using artificial intelligence transactionally. It is available directly for professionals and researchers who would rather build their own.

Vanguard Mission Suite

In Development

Analytical tooling line

Vanguard Mission Suite is the line under which Matador's analytical software tools are organized as they mature toward release. It exists to give the tools a common structure, a shared standard for source verification and disclosure, and a coherent identity for the practitioner audience they are built for.

Further detail, including which tools sit under the line at launch, will be published as the products reach release.
